Join the Wolfson community in supporting our students
The Annual Giving campaign is a community effort by our members, alumni and friends in support of the College's work. With your help, we can bring the brightest minds to Wolfson, regardless of their circumstances, and support them while they are here. Your gift of any size will make a difference.
The General Fund is used to support key priorities across College and allows us to be flexible in directing funds to where they are most needed.
The Student Support Fund enables Wolfson to ensure our students get the support they need to thrive at Cambridge and to make the most of their time at College, be it through specific College projects and porgrammes; grants, bursaries and hardship awards; travel grants or equipment and other items needed to support study.
The Widening Participation Fund helps us reach out to students from backgrounds of educational and social disadvantage, and to support them during their studies here.
For a limited time due to COVID-19: for every gift to the Student Support Fund, the Harding Challenge Fund will donate a matching amount to the University's Cambridge Bursaries. This includes single and recurring gifts up to a total of £100,000.
The impact you will make
Many supporters give single donations and gifts of any size together make a big difference:
- £75 provides a one-off hardship grant
- £300 will support a student's course-related travel
- £1000 will provide an undergraduate student with a top-up bursary or a postgraduate scholarship
Please consider making a regular commitment for the next 3 or 4 years - the time it takes for a student to complete an undergraduate degree or postgraduate study.
Recognising your Gift
All donors are invited to an annual garden party at College and are recognised in the annual Wolfson Review.
Supporters who give £1,000 or more a year become members of The President’s Circle. This group of donors together raised more than £150,000 in the past 12 months.
Contribute to our effort
Please consider a recurring gift, which help the College to plan ahead and enables us to offer secure funding to students for their entire candidature. If you have a UK bank account, your money could go further if you pay by Direct Debit.
If you are giving from abroad, or would like to give a one-off donation, please continue with this form below. You can also give via bank transfer, telephone or mail.
